My child, I am here,
Worry not, have no fear,
It’s ok, if you cry,

I will wipe the tears from your eyes,
I will answer when you ask, why?
My unconditional love,

I just studied Psalm 46 this morning (Our Daily Bread devotional) and loved your poem!
I am fighting to keep my faith in God right now.
It looks like I will have to go off my medication for my ms.
Either, we are not in poverty so we don’t qualify for financial assistance or companies that assist have run out of money.
Anyways, I am fighting to hang onto my faith and I thank you for being kind enough to share such a beautiful poem.

So many people carry crosses that are so difficult. I applaud you for having the courage to carry your cross and still hold on to your faith in the Lord. Jesus told us to come to Him with are troubles and burdens and that He would give us comfort.
His love for you and me is so immense that nothing could overcome it. For some unknown reason it seems to me, that when times are difficult we are closer to God. He is with you now and always will be. Lean on Him, He surely knows what you are going through more than anyone else.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

i believe that jesus is close to us too especially in times of trouble… i dont know why… i am currently going through this time when i am not able to pray at all… so all i do is whenever i have issues i just ask him for help… a short “please help me” kind of a thing as anything else chokes me up very badly.
there seem to be instant answers and even stuff that i am not asking for but just wish in my mind would happen are happening!!!
the only thing that is not happening is reconciliation with my ex husband and just today in the morning, i was wondering why that was so. I came to the conclusion that if jesus could answer such small requests, he surely has already heard this prayer of mine… so i wonder if it is becos of the iniquity in my heart… do i really want him back? i keep oscillating back and forth as we did have a very hurtful relationship.

I see your cross and pray for you to have strength for it is in carrieing our cross that Jesus is glorified, when He is our reason for accepting the way that we don’t at times seem to understand.
Do you remember the “footsteps” painting where a person told Jesus that it was in the deepest time of his cross that Jesus seemed not to be there, for there were only one pair of footsteps.
Jesus replied "It was in those times that you thought were so deep, that you were so alone, and you saw only one pair of footsteps that I was carrieing you. They were mine footsteps, I was carrieing you for I knew that the cross was too hard for you.
