Like Santa ?
Or woman are better at “Muli-Tasking”
Or ??
What have you been taught
But proved to be Not True?

Which of your examples do you consider to be not true?

Back in the '80s, a cab driver told me about how Chevy Nova cars didn’t sell well in Spanish-speaking countries because “No va” = “doesn’t go”.

It was only years later that I found out that was just an urban legend.

I was told there would be meatballs at a senator’s victory party. There were not.

Something more serious: In chess, I was initially taught that en passant (a special pawn move) involved horizontally switching places with the captured pawn, when in reality you take it as if it had moved one.

In fact “nova” means “new” in portuguese lol

Let’s see, some of them:
-The tooth fairy brings money for teeth that fall out
-Ulcers are caused by stress alone
-Doctors have all the answers to your medical problems
-A girl shouldn’t wear shiny patent leather shoes because the shoes reflect what’s under her dress.
-Cars from American companies were all made in America.
-You have to wait an hour after eating before you can go swimming.
-Men don’t cry.

Chocolate causes zits.
Smoking cigarettes is cool.
Cats will suck the breathe from a baby.
The devil doesn’t exist.

-All meat is bad for you
-All grain is bad for you
-Cracking knuckles results in fat fingers
-Holding your breathe while passing cemeteries because…idk even why
-acting obnoxious and prideful = being kewl

That Santa Claus doesn’t really exist.

Whenever one gives something precious or important to someone in need, Santa Claus )and his progenitor, St. Nicholas, does truly exist.
