Have you ever been told to lie for your boss or the company you work for?

Or . been told “I lied for you”

dann, what is the problem? This is the third time you have made a thread about lying, liars and work.

Why not actually say something further, or explain instead of posting and then never answering again?

If you have a problem with your boss, he is the one to speak to. Or Human Resources.

@dann You don’t lie for anyone. You’ll just be implicated when the :poop: hits the fan.

No. I would like to know though the reason for your question so that we can discuss it, unless you are just making survey.

I wouldn’t lie for my boss. Liars get thrown under the bus when the chips are down.

Yes. Boss decided to sign off on what I refused to, because the data was not satisfactory…long story short, I lost my job some weeks later when he explained if he had to do my job, he didn’t see any need for me on the payroll.

Didn’t know whether to kiss him or kick him, but understanding the lack of ethics, I left happily and never looked back!

Why all these questions and threads about bosses, lying for them, kissing up to them, etc? What is the issue behind all of this? And why can’t you put all of these questions from your various “boss” threads into one thread?
