Do you have any stories about a saint’s intercession in your life or someone you know? I love hearing these testimonies and find that they strengthen my faith, so I would love to hear if you have any.

I did hear from my nan years ago that St Padre Pio (when he was alive) told her cousin that he would become a priest which he did.

I was also an agnostic a few years back & my mum went on pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo & Pietrelcina in Italy to Padre Pio’s resting place etc. with my uncle & they both prayed there asking help for their kids which turned out to be a turning point for me & my way back to the church & also my cousin (uncle’s son) sorted himself out not long after which my uncle was so worried about.

Anyone in heaven is a saint. I pray to Saint Anthony quite often. In 1996 my wife and I went on pilgrimage to Italy. Our daughter was having a difficult pregnancy with her first child. We prayed for her unborn baby at St. Anthony’s tomb in Padua. The baby’s now a fine 24 year old man. Saint Anthony is a powerful aid in finding lost items, too.

Personal question… you don’t have to answer… but what exactly happened after they prayed that made you turn back to the Church? 🙂

I started to re-evaluate my ideas & suddenly had the urge to find the truth. Had the urge to find good books on Christianity. I got the Renzo Allegri book about Padre Pio called Padre Pio: Man of Hope which was so wonderful & moving & I highly recommend.

The one that took my doubts away completely in God & that Jesus existed was:
What happened to me? Reflections of a journey by Randall Niles (Brilliant book) Then other books that lead me back to the Catholic church & I still get books to deepen my faith.

The most recent book I got was about St Paul & is brilliant & I highly recommend which is: The Catholic Perspective on Paul: Paul and the Origins of Catholic Christianity by Taylor Marshall

I also got books regarding Eucharistic Miracles, the saints, Fatima etc.

I’m still on my journey & now know it’s all real & that the Catholic church is the one true Catholic & apostolic church & that Jesus is Lord & the redeemer & saviour of the World.

St. Joseph, patron of workers, has definitely helped me greatly with my career…he’s a powerful intercessor and an amazing spiritual father :).
