Have you lived in or visited Armenia?

I was just messing around on Google Maps exploring countries I haven’t heard much about and saw some cool looking monasteries and landscapes in Armenia. I started reading about the country on Wikipedia and read that it was the first Christian nation. Apparently the Catholic population there is small, but has anybody been there?

No but I’ve been to the Armenian Quarter in Jerusalem.

Had to explain to the others in my group what the giant mural of the Armenian genocide on the wall of the pizza parlor was.

I have not heard of the Armenian genocide either.

It’s the Armenian version of the Holocaust, basically.

Look it up. I had not heard about it either until about a year ago. Some think the reason you haven’t heard about it is totally political.

I think I would to, but there are probably more places I would like to visit than not.
