We haven’t taken it down yet. We still leave the lights on as well during the day when we are home. Have you packed your tree away yet? Why or why not?

Yes, we took it down. No real reason to keep it up. It looked nice, but the holiday season is over.

No, but it’s coming down today (Monday). Our tree always stays up through the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord.

I didn’t put one up, haven’t for a couple of years. Traditionally the tree is taken down before the 6th January (Epiphany). or 12th Night.

I took the tree down at my mom’s house last week. She’s 92 and seems to get anxious if the tree stays up for too long beyond New Year’s Day. She wants the house tidy and back to normal as soon as possible, regardless of when the Church says the Christmas liturgical season is over.

It’s still up. It will stay up until it dies and my wife realizes it 😄

Ours always comes down by Epiphany. Any longer would be a borderline fire hazard. This year we got a Frazier fir rather than a Noble fir and it seemed to drink better, loose less needles, and stay greener. We might do that from here on out.

Artificial tree, and it’s still up. I want to enjoy it for a little longer … maybe until Candlemas.

Took mine down at Epiphany but there’s still a small Epiphany crib which remains until Candlemass.
