I would listen to Fr Ripperger with a grain of salt. From the Arcidiocese of Denver, it looks like he is in Greeley, but, I cannot find him on any parish website. Strange.

Father Thomas has been nothing but a warm, well rounded, loving and informative presence in my life. Amazing man God Bless him

Listen little lady. If you’re actually a catholic and not just someone that enjoys the culture and ideas of the church you need to take this stuff more seriously. The spirit world, real satanism and demons are very real and a very serious problem. The true church is of the Holy Spirit, the euchairst, the angels, our holy mother, the priesthood and the word… I was looking to get an opinion from people that are actually informed. And don’t take that as me trying to sound morally superior because I am probably the worst sinner and savage on this website

Stop insinuating. One can certainly be a fully faithful Catholic and believe all the things you listed without assenting to every word of a random FSSP priest. I thought you were done with this thread?

Christ told us to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Wisdom, discernment, healthy skepticism and research are vital in this world of unfettered public platform.

Dr Peter Kreeft’s very brief book “Angels and Demons” would be worth your time to read.

Also, the Eucharist and our Holy Mother and the Word are proper nouns.

Look Durden, a lot of us are quite aware of the presence of Satan in the world and the fact that there are Satanists around. We pray against it, maybe join the Angelic Warfare Confraternity, use the St. Benedict Medal etc.

Fr. Ripperger is a bit controversial, but there are plenty of other priests, some endorsed by the Vatican, who also caution us to be aware of demonic influences. However, we also believe that if we are firm in our faith in God and our love of Jesus and Mary, and also avoid certain activities such as drugs, witchcraft, and Ouija boards that can open doors and let bad creatures in, we do not have to go around fearing demons all day long.

You are presenting these concepts like they are something new, like we have never before thought about evil, Satanism, devils, or exorcists. Why are you doing this? Have you been personally troubled by Satan or demons and you feel it necessary to spread the warning to others? You are preaching to the choir but you sound so alarmist it is hard to take you seriously.

This is the essence of liberalism. The kingdoms of the Earth have been in the Devil’s grasp since Satan ridiculously tried to offer them to Christ as a temptation. However, Christ now and ultimately rules not only this domain but also the Holy of Holies and Church Triumphant above. It is not apparent only because so few mortals recognize His Kingdom present for all his Church (Militant, Triumphant, etc.) in His Body and lean instead toward the Fall. There is a choice, and divine grace is powerful, granted a purity of soul – for no unclean thing shall enter and observe the beatific vision. This is why reconciliation, communion, and adoration are so important respectively.

For more insight, check into the shape/gemstone make up of Heaven, the garb the High Priests had to wear into the Holy of Holies on the day of repentance and how it differed from their regular garb, the Eastern gate, the show bread, the menorah’s light and make up of gold, and the destruction of the Temple/tearing of the veil (the opening of the gate) dividing into the Holy of Holies upon Christ’s offering up of His Body on the Cross (the Kingdom of Heaven).

I hope this is helpful for you right now. God bless, you will be in my intentions.

Father Ripperger is an order priest. It’s not strange at all that he’s not listed on parish websites.

I have found him to be a faithful priest with a talent for teaching. I recommend listening to his talks to anyone interested in learning the faith.
