By way of an update.
In August of 2014, Bishop Parkes of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee (Fr. Yozefu’s bishop) issued a statement regarding Fr. Yozefu’s book, The Healing of Families. In that statement, Bishop Parkes indicated that he was having the Censor Librorum of the diocese (Fr. Hector Perez, STD) examine Fr. Yozefu’s writings in order to see if an Imprimatur and Nihil Obstat could be issued for the book.
One year later, in August of 2015, Bishop Parkes issued an updated statement. Therein, he stated that, upon examination, Fr. Yozefu’s book, The Healing of Families, could NOT be given the canonical designations (i.e. approvals) requested by Fr. Yozefu.
In other words, the book contains errors that are serious enough in nature that Fr. Yozefu’s bishop cannot grant it canonical approval unless it undergoes significant revision.
