Hello.
I really need help. I have a lot of health problems for the first time in my life, I’m 28. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea in February, right before Covid. I lost my job (I left with a reference before I was terminated)- due to fatigue. I don’t sleep well. I’ll wake up with night sweats as well, which apparently sleep apnea is 3x more likely to suffer from.
I got another job like 3 weeks ago. I quit after 6 days. I’m so fatigued, really it’s a task for me to do laundry (I have to drive 2 miles to a laundromat). It’s hard to find the energy to do that in the course of a week. So, my finances are pretty bad. Unfortunately my immediately family are completely unsupportive. Please don’t ask about them. My mom literally said I was just fat and there was nothing medically wrong with me. I have a CPAP, I just can’t sleep with it. I’ll take it off after 20 minutes while I’m asleep. Apparently there is a pacemaker surgery, I might need that. But I’m in no place to get that rn, I don’t have health insurance.
Basically I’m on the verge of homelessness. I think my sister, who lives 1400 miles away might take me in. I’m planning on asking a priest tomorrow. I’ve been trying to set an appointment with this group of priests here for 2 weeks, to no avail. The secretary promised someone would call me back on Monday of last week, and I never got a call.
Anyways. I used to live with some monks. I’d almost rather go there. That’s 700 miles away from me. I know some Catholics there.
So pray for me for my health to get taken care of.
And really I need someone to basically be my family for me, bc mine are MIA. I really should be with my family with these health issues I’m having. There’s been blood in my stool for 3 weeks. Sorry if that’s TMI.
I need somewhere to go by the end of the month. I’d love to go to a Catholic community. I think most Catholic communities just exist in our imaginations.
If I get my stuff together, that’s what I’d like to do full time.
So pray for me.
And, if you have any leads, please let me know.
I have a working car. So, I’m particularly interested in anything in: Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, or Georgia. (or in this region). My sister lives in Denver, CO, so that’s much farther away.
