I believe different.
A lot of times I visit people just for the sake of visiting, because I want to spend time with them. Not because I want their help with something or want them to answer a question for me. Prayer for me is often like that, spending some time with God, Mary, saints and angels. They are always pretty good company.
Expecting an answer every time seems to me childish, or maybe like some types of Protestants. God answers all prayers in due time. Sometimes you get a yes or no pretty quick and sometimes it takes 20 years to see how God set up an event that shaped a whole pattern for your life and had far reaching lessons and effects you wouldn’t have even thought about at the time you were asking the question. (This latter actually happened to me.)
Also, based on your past posts you seem to have this weird (to me) view of God, Mary, saints and angels as supernatural, spirits, etc. As I said to you before, they aren’t supernatural. They’re the most natural beings ever. God CREATED nature. They are present right here in daily life, they don’t come zooming in from Spirit World when summoned with a rosary or Mass. The only spirit involved here is the Holy Spirit.
