I cannot sleep. I know I must allow my daughter to slip from the embrace my love for her desires. For over a year she has refused communication but will not tell me why; she intimates that the reason is grievous. I have no idea what it is about. Only that her mother, a child of God, I continually remind myself, works continually herself to alienate my adult children from me. My heart aches, I’m angry and forgiveness has not been harder. Please pray for me.

I’m sorry for your grief & situation. Can you call your ex & ask what she is saying or if she knows why your daughter feels this way?
The word of God doesnot return void. Send little healing verses.
Ask her to write what is grievous.
How can you be able to understand. The enemy is Satan, not you or your wife or your daughter.
Commandment 4 Honor your Father & Mother & you will have a long life in this world. Parents do not drive your children to frustration.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon indymb in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give

be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
same Peace into the lives

Have been trying to reach some level of rapport with my ex for years (including encouraging notes - backfired!). Thank you for prayers.

If she is going to church, can you meet her w the Pastor, in presence, in the church office? OR can you ask the Pastor to communicate for you?
In time, after 18 yo age & when they have moved out in their own, communication can start.
Pick up some cards at Hallmark store. Fill one out, at a time. Send 1 weekly. The words will speak to you from the cards. Send flowers for attn.
Be creative. Practically speaking, phone numbers & addresses are usually kept in case of emergencies.
Maybe, this Christmas season will melt the ice around their hearts.
Can a reconciliation occur? Or are you both remarried? It’s amazing what can be done. WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Blessed Mother, will you continue a prayer to resolve this situation before Jesus , your Son. Jesus, pls take my request for resolution of this situation to the GatherFather for me. Let Your Holy Spirit heal ,the broken hearted & set the Captuve free. In Jesus Name .
