Thank you all for your helpful answers! If any one would like to add anything feel free to do so. 🙂

=Stantteman;8364831]Thank you for all your answers. But I would like to get detail on what is quoted above. Thanx… 😃
Let’s be clear,

Heaven and hell are singular location choices WE ourselves choose for our eternity… Despite differen terminogy used, ofthen because of the audience being addressed. When speaking and teaching Jews the Hebrew termonology made most sense, such is the case of the term"schoel".

But the Jews understood this to be a temporary punishment; not the eternal punishment that both Hell and heaven actually are.

Using current theology; “schoel” would be much closer to Prugatory than hell.

Neverthreless ALL of the references to “schoel” or hell or damnation refer to a ETERNAL and permnant condition.

God Bles,
Pat

What proof is there that when you die you go to heaven.
To start, when the Jehovah Witnesses are quoting Bible verses to you be aware that they are using a translation that changes the message that God gave us. We believe the Holy Sprite (also God) inspired the Bible. Their version changes words so that Jesus is only the Son of God but not God. Christians believe that Jesus is God- there’s a big difference there. We believe that he is also a man. That’s why Jesus sometimes appears to be referring to God the Father as superior, he is addressing God from his own humanness.

As far a Heaven- (and there really is a Hell too!)

Matt 5:12 …for your reward will be great in heaven

There are many other verses that talk about eternal life or damnation, or blazing fire. (the JW version takes out references to hell)

The early Christians understood that Paradise was another term for Heaven. Since the Catholic Church goes back to the Apostles, we have the same beliefs as they did. The JW’s came about relatively recently and have formed many beliefs on their own.

The JW’s come up with some convincing ideas that contradict the Church’s teachings, but after researching what the Church really teaches, one will come to see that the Church is following what the Apostles taught from what Jesus said and did.

The JW’s that have been to my house really believe what they think about the Catholic Church is right even though they have been way off on what the Church really teaches.

Be very leery about everything they say, especially pertaining to the CC.

***Actually dear friend there are many. However, before geting to the biblical evidence; allow me to point out what shoud be [prayefully] obvious.

Of all of Gods creations “Only humanity was Willed by God for Himself”…One can never find truth seeking it is a book written to ceceal and distort it; nor can one find truth without making an effort to do so.***

**Isa.43 Verses 7,21: **“every one who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made." AND the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.”

Heaven and hell are destinations that we; not God, choose for ourselves. we are enabled to do this because of all of God’s created things ONLY humanity has a mind, intellect, and a freewill attached permanently to our souls. These similar to the One True God, are “spiritual things.” [not physical as taught by the LDS].

Here is proof of hell: “2 Peter 2: 4 “For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell * and committed them to pits of nether gloom to be kept until the judgment”

Heb. 10:26-27 For if we sin deliberately AFTER receiving the knowledge of the truth, there NO LONGER REMAINS A SACRIFICE for sins, but a FEARFUL PROSPECT of judgment, and a FURY OF FIRE which will CONSUME THE ADVERSARIES

And here are other proofs of heaven:

**John 14:1-4 **““Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. [Jesus who too is God] In my Father’s house [heaven] are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”

Mt. 5: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 10 "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Luke.24: 51 “While he [Jesus] blessed them, he parted from them, and was carried up into heaven

And here is evidence of why BOTH in an absolute sense exist:

Heb.6: 10 “For God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.”

**Rev.2: 23 **“and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches shall know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve.”

1 Peter 1: 17 “Now if you invoke as Father him who judges impartially according to each one’s works, conduct yourselves with reverence during the time of your sojourning, “

“ Matt.19: 17 “And he said to him, “If you would enter life, keep the commandments."

***The GREATEST proof is the very way we are created in the “image” of God so that one whom FREELY choses to know God; can, and then choose also to obey, love and serve him. AND ONLY HUMANITY can choose to do; OR NOR TO DO THESE THINGS.

Thus reward and punishment are the necessary tools of a Fair and Just God.***

God Bless you,
Pat
