The same Surah (5) also says the following:Speaking of the ability to recognize the Truth, the Qur’an has this to say:
"Certainly, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Pagans, and you will find the nearest in love to the Believers (Muslims) those who say: “We are Christians”. That is because amongst them are priests (Men devoted to learning) and monks (men who have renounced the world), and because they do not behave proudly. And when they listen to what has been sent down to the Messenger (Muhammad), you see their eyes overflowing with tears, for they recognize the truth. They say: “Our Lord! We believe; so write us down among the witnesses. And why should we not believe in Allah and in that which has come to us of the truth (Islamic Monotheism) and we wish that our Lord will admit us (in Paradise on the Day of Resurrection) along with the righteous people?” So because of what they said, Allah rewarded them Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), they will abide therein forever. Such is the reward of good-doers. But those who disbelieved and denied Our signs, they shall be the dwellers of the Hell-Fire." (Al-Qur’an 5:82-86)
Can scientists explain why the world’s oceans and lakes do not dissapear into the ground like what presumably happened on Mars?Scientists may have something to say about that.
That is why no scientist ever claim to be God, nor claim that their works is a dictation from God.Can scientists explain why the world’s oceans and lakes do not dissapear into the ground like what presumably happened on Mars?
I do not think that there is to be found even a single hydrologist or geologist anywhere in the world who would be able to provide a scientifically-sound explanation as to why bodies of water on the surface of the planet like oceans and lakes are defying the laws of gravity and not seeping and dissapearing completely into the interior of the Earth.
And on a related note, everyone should have a look at this newly discovered mystery which once again affirms the fact that often science is simply unable to provide the answers to even the most fundamental questions concerning our existence vis-a-vis the world which we live in.
I’m we can agree on something. I fear that science, brought upon by religions, in pursuit of proving God’s existence has turned against God to disprove Him and attempt to perfect humanity. Arrogance is one of the most abhorrent of sins of mankind. And on a related note, everyone should have a look at this newly discovered mystery which once again affirms the fact that often science is simply unable to provide the answers to even the most fundamental questions concerning our existence vis-a-vis the world which we live in.
