Help a friend but how?

well i dont know how to help a friend that really i dont have like a big friendship but i think i should start to have more contact with him to make him see that catholic is the real religion and how i can explain ? how can i begin? what steps i follow?

Well, begin with yourself.
First and foremost, recognize there is no way you can make anyone see that Catholicism is the real religion.

We are the light to the world when we live our lives according to Christ. It is through our actions, our love, our charity, our kindness that others are drawn to the Church.

Pray to the Holy Spirit that you are properly discerning His call for you. Apparently you feel a pull to reach out to this person. It is quite possible that **is **what God has in mind for you right now. Trust, however, that if it is His will, He will provide you with the proper words to utter and the proper time and so forth. Just keep praying and giving yourself over to God for this purpose.

If the Holy Spirit is working on your friend He will lead the friend to ask questions and he will guide you on how to respond to those questions. Do not be afraid. Trust in Him and don’t get in His way with your own ideas.
