Help- addicted to CAF

Ok, I need a little help here.
It seems I have quickly developed a bad habit of compulsively checking the forums here at Catholic Answers when I really ought to be working.
If you see me posting during the day, please gently remind me to get back to work.

I thought CAF was short for caffine. 😛 Maybe you should concentrate more on caffine instead. Get some coffee and get back to work. 😉 We’ll be here when you’re done.

My name is Christina…and I have the same problem, although I spend more time spying on people than actually posting. 😛

If I happen to see you post during work hours I’ll gently remind you, but for the most part I work at night so I won’t be much help. :o

Good luck beating the addiction! 👍
 
I am glad that in my job we have spurts of work! i really like this place, it reminds me of home.
 
I only wish I were able to return to work and break the habit myself. I am definitely addicted and wish to break it. I lokk forward to Lent of 2006.

What can I say - I do not post as much as I read CAF:)

You’re asking us to help you quit posting?? That’s like asking your heroin dealer to help you quit drugs!

Actually, when you consider all the addictions you could struggle with… really the one that HELPS you grow in your Catholic faith isn’t such a bad one to have.

Now quit reading this and get back to work! 😉
 
I’m right there with you. I always want to check the post. I so enjoy reading everyone. These are the most insightful people around and I have learned much from them so I can’t help but know that I am here also.

I actually spend a lot more time reading rather than posting.

Allow yourself only 30 minutes at a time…like right now…my time is up! See ya!
 
I actually bought a computer for home (after years of resistance) to STOP myself posting and reading at work.

Guess where I am right now??? Yep.:o

But it has helped to restrict me a lot - most of the time.

Can’t help you!! Let’s hope that Lent 2006 will help us get a grip on ourselves.:bowdown2:
 
I wish I could get on here at work!! It would save me time at home for other things! 🙂 Aw, who am I kidding I’d be on here then too.
