Yes I think so too.
But actually I just wanted to help the thread starter in his question and didn’t want to start a discussion again. I just had one in “How many deny the Real Presence in the Eucharist?” by rinnie.
I am powered out, sorry.
But I am sure, if our OP reads the Holy Bible faithfully and in prayers, he will see what I meant. It will take him some time, but he will see it. The Holy Ghost will guide him.

If any spirit guides him away from Orthodoxy or Catholicism I can promise you it won’t be the Holy Spirit.

I wouldn’t dare saying that. The Holy Ghost leads people to where **He **wants, not where you want.
I by the way, would never dare to say that people are not guided by the HS to the RCC neither to Orthodox Churches.
I really know why I left the RCC… I hate this “one true Church” stuff!
The OP can trust upon the HS. He will guide him where He wants him to be.

Read a good book about Fatima and Guadalupe. If you do and decide that you believe in the apparitions then you are not left in much doubt about the True Church. It was enough to bring me back home no doubts, no problems.

Well, I know. In my heart I haven’t been catholic for - uhm - 8 years. Only on the paper. But this will change by this year I guess.

Well, this doesn’t mean I hate the Catholic Church. But I haven’t liked the idea that a church claims to be the only one and true Church. (Although I nearly slipped into the LDS Church during my search…)I’m sorry you hate this “one true Church” “stuff”. Your dislike of it doesn’t make it any less true in our eyes.

I do respect the RCC as well as the Orthodox Churches, but I don’t believe that they are the “one and true Churches”.

Esdra, Then I have 2 possible views of you from what you wrote.
1-You are a lapsed catholic christian. This is not great because you don’t exactly go to catholic church, let alone agree with its views.
2-You are a baptist christian.
Whichever, you choose, you are at core a Christian.

Actually, I am a just a christian. Which protestant denomination I belong to is not that important! - Pentecostal, Mennonite, Anabaptist, Baptist - no matter for me. They are all Christians!
