I have a very specific question to ask about my moral responsibility.
Several years ago, when pulling in to park, I lightly hit another car, and it happened to be someone I know. It was gentle, and no apparent damage, so I never told the person.
I mentioned that I hit another car and never said anything in confession, but does it change the situation because I know the person? Am I morally obligated to tell the person what happened? Maybe I am being overly scrupulous, but I am really confused, can anyone help with some advice?
Thank you in advance.
