I read a while ago a very good book about Catholic saints. Unfortunately I don’t remember the title or the author but I was hoping to find one or both so as to find the book again. It is not “Lives of the Saints”; all that I remember is that it was relatively short (150-300 pages, perhaps) and I seem to remember it being put in chronological order by days of the year corresponding with a saint’s feast day (i.e., January 1 to December 31). Also each entry gave about a page and a half or so on each saint, sometimes more, unlike the brief notes in Butlet’s Lives of the Saints.

If anyone knows what book this is I appreciate the help.

I might have the book. The book I have is about 50 years old. I will check when I get home from work.

Did you find the title?
Sorry, had forgotten all about it. It is probably not the one you are looking for. The one I have is Lives of Saints by Father Thomas Plassmann. It was published by John J. Crawley & Co. in 1954. It is about 500 pages long and goes by the year of their death.
