My patron saint is St. Pascal Baylon, and for my confirmation (and life) I’d like to have a medal with him on it. The thing is, I haven’t been able to find him on any site I’ve looked on, and I’m beginning to wonder if anybody makes one. Does anyone know where I could get one of these? Or of a site that will make me one? Even if it’s ‘used’ or ‘antique’ or something I don’t mind.

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I thought this would be the best place for it.

You might try ebay. Another option is to buy a locket, print out a picture of St Pascal (for example, one of these) and put the picture in it.

you might try St. Paschal Baylon parish in Highland Hts, Ohio 44143 don’t have the number handy but they might help you, they have a shrine, staffed by Blessed Sacrament fathers.

My MIL carries the inexpensive oxidized medal of St. Paschal and I believe she can get the silver, pewter or gold ones on special order, but I don’t know who her source is. She can be reached at Immaculate Heart of Mary Shop, 1-505-630-9707. If she’s not there, Dad or my BIL will be glad to help!

I know if you check out a lot of shops (not necessarily religious ones, but art galleries) here in the southwest (especially Santa Fe) you’ll find a lot of icons and retablos of San Pasqual who is the patron of cooks as well as Eucharistic Congresses. Most of the retablos (like the one I have in my kitchen) depict him praying before an image of a monstrance in his kitchen, or else holding a ristra of red chile and a sheaf of corn.

I was born on his feast day (May 17), I love to cook, and my husband took the name Paschal when he was confirmed!

Thank you everyone! Good ideas, and I’ve never seen the name spelled ‘Pasqual’ before, maybe that will help my search.

I chose him because he’s the patron saint of cooks. I’ll be going to culinary school soon, and so my future is closely tied to cooks and kitchen obviously. I also really admired his devotion to the Eucharist.

Thanks again, very much. I hadn’t thought of printing out a picture either. The Laser option looks interesting too…

Now I have several options! 😛

You know St Lawrence and St Martha are patrons of cooks as well - might be a wee bit easier to find medals of them 🙂

May or may not have the Saints you’re looking for… but they’re pretty good:

www.aquinasandmore.com

If no luck there, as someone suggested, best place might be their shrines, most saints have one or more you can find by searching internet…

Hope this helps 🙂
