Good morning,
I came across this medal in my mother’s things. It was in a box marked “Uncle John” which would be her Uncle John - Monsignor Nugent of Nativity B.V.M. Parish in Philadelphia. It’s about the size of a half-dollar
Since I’m new I guess I’m not allowed to post a picture. It’s kind of an open circle with the person in the middle wearing a crown and open cape of sorts

I"m trying to post pictures somewhere, but for now I have some on my Etsy page - “RiverJoeShop”

I don’t understand why new members can’t post pictures here.

Hello, that’s very interesting that you are related to someone from Nativity BVM.

With respect to the medal, we can’t really tell without seeing it unfortunately. Can you post a picture somewhere else like Imgur or Flickr and just post a link to it here?

Hi, @RiverJoe, and welcome to CAF!

Is there no lettering of any kind on either side of your medal?

It won’t let me do this, but I created a Flickr account. Pics there

The first one is a crucifix and looks like it has some earth or stone from the catacomb’s in Rome.

The one after that that is a medal of the Infant of Prague (a miraculous statue in Prague of the child Jesus dressed like a king). Is this the one you referred to in your opening post?

The third is the Miraculous Medal (a famous image of Mary)

And the last is a medal depicting the Trinity.

OK, got it. The medal is the Holy Trinity. God the Son and God the Father on the front with God the Holy Spirit as the dove at the bottom. God the Father is wearing the crown. Holy Spirit and an inscription about the Trinity on the back.

Here’s a more complete link

It’s a pretty nice medal.
By the way, if you want your other stuff identified,
The crucifix is from Rome and has earth from the catacombs in it.
The cut-out medal is the Infant of Prague.
The oval medal is a Miraculous Medal of Mary with the inscription in what appears to be Asian lettering. Sorry I don’t know the language.

Your asking price for the lot is a bit high IMHO, medals aren’t that rare.
Good luck.
