Ok so i’ve been baptised and confirmed into the Protestant Church but I want to convert to the Catholic faith for personal reasons. . Can i be confirmed into the catholic church or is this not possible?? Or if this is not possible, can i atleast receive communion in the catholic church?

It is possible.

To join the Church you need to go through RCIA to assure that you are serious about the promises you will be making. You can’t take communion unless you are a Catholic in good standing.(ie. with no unforgiven mortal sins)

Also, your protestant baptism is considered valid by the Catholic Church as long as it was performed in the trinitarian formula of “in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit”.

First off, there’s no such thing as “the Protestant Church” and never has been.

And there’s no reason why you cannot enter through an Eastern Catholic Church, if you so choose.

Note I said, “Eastern CATHOLIC,” not “Eastern Orthodox.”

Go to your local Catholic parish and talk to the priest. He will tell you what you need to do.

Depending on what type of Protestant you were, they may re- confirm you. We probably will not re-baptize you unless you were not baptized in the Father, son, and Holy spirit. It depends on what your Protestant church believed they were doing when the confirmed you, in contrast to Catholic beliefs.
You will have to contact your local Catholic Church to go through a program called RCIA, and they will bring you into full communion in the church with holy communion and reconciliation as well.

Yes, normally through attending RCIA until Easter

the confirmation and eucharist both occur at one time ( this is always the case when the person is over 7) You will also go to confession usually all the same day ( the Easter Vigil) that is the Saturday night before Easter, which was part of Easter in the old calendar. The trip to the confessional is the first sacrament ( Sacrament of Reconcilation)

The only Confirmation the Catholic Church would recognize (other than a Catholic Confirmation) would be from the Orthodox churches. For Confirmation to be valid, it must be administered by a priest or bishop. Thus, only those churches with validly ordained priests can validly administer Confirmation.
