My husband Josh had a melanoma removed and will follow up with an oncologist every 6 months to make sure it hasn’t spread to his lungs or liver.
Now the doctor has seen a spot on his X-ray suspicious of a tumor. He will have a Cat Scan at 6:30 tomorrow morning.
Please! Pray for him! He is only 39.

Praying hard. This situation certainly brings one to the very base of the Lord’s Cross.

Dear Lord, let this bitter cup pass from Josh and his wife. But if it is Thy Holy Will that they drink, bless them with angels to strengthen them as Thou did by sending a Holy Angel to strengthen Thy Son in His agony in the Garden and On the Cross.

Thy will, always, be done

Amen.

(Prayer of St. Pio of Pietrelcina)
O my Jesus, you have said: “Truly I say to you, ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.” Behold I knock, I seek and ask for the grace of Help please. I’m afraid. Pray for Josh. Amen

Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory be to the Father…:signofcross:

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Adding my prayers for Josh too. And for you so that you will be unafraid and will have the strength of Michael the Archangel to go forward in confidence and peace.

May St. Raphael, whom God sends to us as His medicine,
put his soothing, healing hands on Josh.
Praying for Josh and you .

Oh dove,

that is very frightening indeed. I will pray for you and your husband that all will be alright. May our Lord place His healing hands upon your husband and guide the doctors in their care of your husband. May our Lord’s holy angels surround you and your family and bring comfort and healing as well.

God bless you, :gopray2:

Loving God please look with great compassion on Josh and his wife and bless and help them in every way possible.
Please give them reassurance and hope, and if You will, please ensure Josh’s treatment will lead to full recovery

Hello Dove,

Please let us know how your husband Josh is doing. I pray the Catscan went well.

Blessings of God and peace of Christ to you and your family, :flowers:

The results are back. The spot may be an area of infection or inflammation, but a tumor cannot be excluded. He is to start steroids and antibiotics then a re-scan to see if it has changed in 4 weeks.
I don’t know how I can bear it. I am so afraid. My worry has always focused on myself… what if I were to get sick? Who would care for my children? I never once imagined it could be Josh. He is my rock.
Lord! Heal him! Please…

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end

Amen

PATER NOSTER,
qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum.
Adveniat regnum tuum.
Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra.
Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie,
et dimitte nobis debita nostra
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris.
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
sed libera nos a malo. Amen.
