Help pray for the people in New Orleans

I found out that Our Lady of Prompt Succor is the Patron Saint of New Orleans/Louisiana. According to the news New Orleans could face a disaster.
Praying to her may help to avoid or at least minimize the outcome.

I thought the prayer at the bottom of this website

could be turned into a novena. Since nine days will take too long, I said it nine times in a row.
Please join me and pray for everyone who is threatened by hurricane Ivan.

Chris: Thank you so much for your prayers. I live 35 miles NNW of New Orleans and we are bracing for a category 4 hurricane. Unfortunely, my company is more worried about the almightly dollar because we are all still required to be at work. Fortunately, I live only 10 minutes away from my work. At 7 a.m. CST, the prediction is that the storm will hit between Gulfport, MS and Mobile, AL. Please pray that when the storm hits it will downgrade so that damage and devastation won’t be as widespread.
