Greetings,
Happy New Year.

I was wanting to take a poll on how effective would it be to make T Shirts with the following image and words. What do you think?

**Christ Builds His Church
**

John

.

I like the idea, but I would prefer one of these quotes:

“And I say to you, that you are Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.” — Matthew 16:18

“And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; and whatever you bound on earth shall be bound in Heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.” — Matthew 16:19

I’ve never seen a T-shirt with that level of detail and color, unless it was a big rubber-like patch. I own one such shirt, and I will never buy another, because the patch is itchy and hot, as it does not “breathe.” I love that shirt (because it says, “Proud Dad, United States Marines” - my youngest son is a Marine) but I rarely wear it because it is uncomfortable.

Alas.

Good point.

As well as not letting your skin breathe, these large patches also crack and get nasty over time and repeated washings.

Consider a simpler image.

I say go for it. Maybe we can all try to wear something like this whenever possible as a way of letting people know we believe in God.

Do you own this shirt? Is the graphic a big rubber-like patch that itches and does not breathe, and you sweat in the chest, and the sweat clings to your chest hairs and, a few hours later, you start to smell “sour” to those around you? (this illustration is a men’s cut shirt, so the wearer likely has chest hair.)

If you own this shirt, and it is breathable comfortable to wear, perhaps you would do the OP the courtesy of naming the manufacturer.

Are we really talking about breathable fabric on the Apologetics forum?

Why not, since the topic is evangelization via T-shirts??? 🙂

If our bodies and their accessories are to be a venue of evangelization, then related topics are suitable as well.

Love the shirt, I am still trying to make sweatshirt with Pope Francis and Peter quote with the Scripture in Latin.
