Help! Reference details please from St. Paul

Could someone help me please and I think I have it right…somewhere in the writings of St. Paul is a statement akin to the fact that St. Paul would put his own soul at risk to save one single soul…or a statement very much like that…can anyone give me the reference details please…I have searched and searched and cannot find any such statement…hence concerned I could yet again have things upside down and inside out…

You are probably thinking of Romans 9:3–“For I could wish that I myself were accursed and separated from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kin according to the flesh.” He’s talking about the Jews.

Pretty sure that’s the quote I am after. Thank you Liberian… a quick check in my own Bible reveals a rearead of the whole of Romans t o get things into context is now timely…
