Is there something in the new “The Da Vinci Code” movie that Columbia Pictures doesn’t want you to read?

According to The New York Times, Columbia Pictures has “dropped a scrim of secrecy over the affair, refusing to discuss anything but the barest details. The script has been closely controlled. Outsiders have been banned from the set. And those associated with the film have had to sign confidentiality agreements.”

How ironic! The very people who say the Catholic Church has hidden the truth from the faithful now hide the truth from you and me.

Why? They don’t want controversy … that’s why!

Which is all the more reason why we’re launching a national e-protest, asking Columbia Pictures to share the secret and release the script. And you can send your email now. Click here.

Of course, you and I know what’s inside The Da Vinci Code book:

• Jesus and Saint Mary Magdalene married … with a child…

• Saint Mary Magdalene as the first pope.

• The Gospel and the holy mysteries of our Faith mocked (endangering the Faith of many, especially our young people)

• The Catholic Church … a cruel power that betrayed Christ and hid His teachings from the faithful.

By hiding the script, Columbia hopes to silence you and me. They think that because we can’t read the script, we can’t protest the film effectively. But they’re wrong!

That’s why it’s so important you send your protest now. Ask Columbia: “why the secrecy?” Please send your personal e-protest to Columbia now by clicking here…

You and I must keep up the pressure… because this is just the beginning. We’ve already mobilized hundreds of volunteers who distributed 225,000 protest cards across the country in one big nationwide crusade.

34,578 people have already signed on to our protest!

And thanks to your prayers, we’ll soon be publishing a book Rejecting The Da Vinci Code against the film and organizing protests in front of theaters.

But just to research, write, print and distribute 60,000 free copies of our new book Rejecting The Da Vinci Code will cost $115,000.

Not to mention the cost of organizing the protest, printing more protest cards, and supplying them to our volunteers from our national protest center. That comes to another $27,000.

Please help by following our four-point action plan:
  1. Click here to send your e-protest message to Columbia Pictures today asking them to release the secret script!
  2. Help finance the printing and distribution of protest cards in parishes in all 50 states with your generous gift of $25, $50 or even $100 today.
  3. Forward a copy of this protest email to your friends.
  4. Order protests cards to send to Columbia Pictures, which you can give out to your family and friends.
Most importantly, let’s pray that the producers see our massive protest and have second thoughts about spending millions of dollars on a film that insults Catholics.

Until next time.

Yours in Jesus and Mary,

The vast majority of Hollywood movies “in the making” have secrecy around them. It has nothig to do with trying to hide some evil; but all to do with business and marketing and not having the scripts leaked by movie internet geeks who just cant wait for the movie to come out. This was done with Jurassic Park…Spielberg had all actors sworn to secrecy and a tightly closed set…same with E.T…same with War of the Worlds… the current Ton Cruise flick Mission Impossible 3 is very secretive. The Da Vinchi Code movie is no different… the so called plot of the movie is an open secret for all who read the book. I think its much ado about nothing.

I know where you’re coming from on this, and it is insulting to the Catholic Church, but did you Ever hear the saying “there is no bad PR?” You’re helping them market this movie. Believe me, Columbia loves you… I can guarantee that protests and hoopla around this movie will drive ticket sales, no question. It certainly played a part in The Passion’s success
