Hi everyone,
I asked for prayers for my anxiety, and I wanted to ask for prayers for helping me to get through the winter. I have a lot of anxiety anyways, but it is especially bad during winter and the cold and snowy months. I am able to drive, but inclement weather, especially the snow and ice, makes me even more so. I would say it borders on claustrophobia or agoraphobia, when the weather is bad. I also have hard time driving when it is dark out and raining. But I just want to ask for prayers for myself during the winter, and especially any other people who struggle through the winter. When it is cold and when snow or ice is forecast, I get extremely anxious, and afraid to leave the house for any reason. I generally have anxiety every day, but snow and freezing conditions magnify it. I am trying to use this as an opportunity to trust God more, but winter is an especially difficult time for me.

You are intimately aware of the struggle this person is experiencing-
the anxiety and the despair. You know the desire of their heart to be healed of this anxiety. I ask now for Your healing touch. I know that You are able and that just like in Biblical times, You can release them from their anxiety.

Dear Lord be their protector and defender in this time of trouble.
Surround them with the Holy Angels,
so that they may emerge from every danger in the fullness of health and well being. Guide their life journey, so they will always walk safely together with you, in God’s protection and friendship.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Writer_for_God), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you.
