Hello I am in college 19 years old raised and been practicing Catholic all my life so far. I’ve been dating this girl for a year. She was baptized catholic but raised Presbyterian but her family wasnt active and didn’t attend church regularly. She’s been coming to church with me for the last 5 months and she likes it and and she likes hearing the readings and homily. And I help her follow along with responses in mass. I try my best to help her and answer her questions and the “why” of things. She still feels very confused about lots of stuff that questions can’t reallt help as they make her more confused (which I understand it’s all new to her). She wants to learn though she feels intimidated by all the knowledge and depth of the faith. She doesn’t feel ready to do RCIA or anything but wants to learn more about everything before she commits or anything. Any advice on how I can help and what I could do would be appreciated. Thank you, God bless!

How nice that your girlfriend attends mass and wants to learn more from you.
Perhaps you could get her a copy of Catholicism for Dummies. I hear it is quite informative. Also, you could watch some Fr. Mike Schmitt videos on YouTube together. Also, very good, and he has a ton of topics. I am pretty sure his easy going but honest manner and sense of humor will keep your attention.
Best of luck to you and your girlfriend. Remind her that it takes time, and don’t push her, just encourage her. 🙂

There is a great platform out there Formed.org

Many parishes offer a subscription free to all parishioners, if not it costs about the same as Netflix. There are great videos you can watch together, studies, etc.
