I am a home schooler of 5 children and I think I could be doing a better job with our religious education. I’ve noticed that there seems be be a lot of other home school families on this forum. What do you do for your religious education? What curriculum do you use, if any?

We use a combination of Seton’s religion for young catholics and Catholic Heritage Curricula materials.

Many also like the Faith and Life series…

I use Mother of Divine Grace syllabi for all my grades. It is a combination of Bible Stories/Bible History, Baltimore Catechism, Faith and Life and in high school a series of books by Fr. Laux. I have also used a series of books for high school from Our Lady of Victory called Our Goal and Our Guide.
A systematic approach to the Baltimore Catechism can’t hurt! It is cheap and easy to get. Hope that Helps

Faith and Life (Ignatius Press) is good and so is almost anything recommended by Laura Berquist. Don’t forget to count non- book activities. My kids are in Catholic clubs and I count that as part of their spiritual formation. When they were younger we read lives of saints books, took part in First Friday devotions and such. It’s not so much the books per se, but the atmosphere in your home.
