Hay guys, I study apocryphal books and in the process of collecting stuff from the tewahedo canon. Does anybody know where I could get one of their bibles or at-least get a copy of the first and second books of covenant. The lost books I’m looking for are listed at the bottom of the canon after Revelation listed on this page. If anyone could help me find a translation of these books that would be great thanks.

I DID find a website by searching on Google that had the Ethiopian canon. I really wish I would have bookmarked it, because it would have been very useful. Hopefully, someone else can help you.

I think I read once that even the Ethiopian Orthodox Church itself does not publish a full Bible… a single bound book with all the books of their canon may not exist.

I don’t know if this is correct, but I have been told that the Ethiopian Orthodox Church only allows the Tewahedo Canon to be read when the text has been transcribed by hand. It may be that this restriction extends to scanned images of the scripture online. This may be the the reason you are having so much trouble finding them.

As a related question, what is the Tewahedo Canon? What extra books does it have, and which books does it lack?

If you want to read Apocryphal books in general, go to Google Play and search up “The lost books” and install the first app
