So I bought this very interesting book a few days ago, written by Sr Sophia Michalenko about the life of Saint Faustina Kowalska. It’s quite a long book (270 pages) and goes into superb detail of Saint Faustina’s conversations with Jesus, most of which were centered around the topic of His unimaginably immense and inexhaustible Mercy. I highly recommend that you get a copy of the book, but just in case some are unable to I’ve decided to list here some of the more helpful sayings of Jesus:
I. I desire that the Feast of Mercy (the first Sunday after Easter) be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. ***On that day the very depths of my tender mercy are open. *** I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. **The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. **
II. The Feast of Mercy emerged from My very depths of tenderness.
III. My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or angel, will be able to contemplate it for all eternity. Everything that exists has come forth from the very depths of my most
tender mercy.
IV. Your great trust in Me forces Me to continuously grant you graces. You have great and incomprehensible rights over my heart, for you are a **daughter of complete trust. **
V. The souls that will say this chaplet (the Divine Mercy chaplet) will be embraced by my mercy during their lifetime and especially at the hour of their death.
VI. At the hour of their death, I defend as my own glory every soul that will say this chaplet (the Divine Mercy chaplet).
VII. Oh, what graces I will grant to souls who say this chaplet (the Divine Mercy chaplet); the very depths of My tender mercy are stirred for the sake of those who say the chaplet.
VIII. By the saying of this chaplet you are bringing humanity closer to Me.
IX. I desire trust from my creatures. Encourage souls to place great trust in My fathomless mercy. Let the weak, sinful soul have no fear to approach Me, for even if it had more sins than there are grains of sand in the world, all will be drowned in the unmeasurable depths of My mercy.
X. Souls who spread the honour of My mercy I shield through their entire life as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Saviour.
XI. **Everything that exists is enclosed in the depths of My mercy more deeply than an infant in its mother’s womb. **
One last excerpt, only this one an admonition:
My daughter, it pains Me very much when religious souls receive the Sacrament of Love (the Eucharist) merely out of habit, as if they did not distinguish this food. I find neither faith nor love in their hearts. I go to such souls with great reluctance. It would be better if they did not receive Me.
Hope this has been of some help to all who have read it. God bless you all.
