Hopefully this is in the right forum, but I wanted to ask for anyone’s opinion on something. Earlier today I was looking up passages in the Bible about Jesus revealing His Divine nature. At that time, thoughts started to come to me about the Gospel of John and how some people/scholars question its validity. I read the Synoptic Gospels first and found quite a few, and then read John. I was still fighting those thoughts about John’s Gospel, so I looked at USCCB’s website for more information. Those thoughts died down eventually, but I would like to know if you think that hesitation to read John because of these thoughts would be considered a sin. Could I be thinking too much about this? Thank you all for responding.
