HGTV's "Flip or Flop" stars separating

I saw this story yesterday - my wife used to occasionally watch this show and I would catch segments of it from time to time. You can never really tell how a couple is in real life based on these fake reality shows but I’m not surprised in any event. Another article I read today said they were already seeing other people so it looks like their marriage is in fact over, which is a shame as they have little kids. Apparently they will continue doing the show together, which is quite strange considering the situation, I wonder if they will address their relationship on the show eventually if they continue to make new episodes past what’s already taped.

This is a completely rhetorical question because I haven’t been living under a rock, but… Whatever happened to ending one relationship before starting another? Whatever happened to marriage for life? So discouraging. I don’t really care about these two but they reaffirm for viewers that marriage is expendable. 😦
