Hi from New York

Hello all! I am, as my name suggests, Aimee O’Connell, from Rochester, New York. I bring to the forum my background in educational psychology, counseling, family problem solving and behavioral therapy. I currently work per diem as a mental health therapist. I felt compelled to join the forum and announce this, so either I am feeling impulsive or the Holy Spirit is leading me here. If anyone heard Monday’s “Catholic Answers Live,” I wanted so badly to respond to Annette from Midland, TX, whose teenage daughter has been cutting. I can’t do long distance therapy but I have a lot of ideas from actual practice that can work for anyone. I may not get to check the forums daily so feel free to email me privately as well (winschools@juno.com) - I will try to check that fairly regularly.
