Hi everyone! Apologies in advance if I’m not posting in the best category - this is my first post here.
Are there any high school Morality teachers lurking on here (USCCB Framework Course VI)? I’m about two and a half years in to my teaching career, and while I think I’m pretty decent with designing lessons and assessments, I recognize that a big struggle of mine is designing meaningful long-term projects.
I’d be curious to hear about any projects teachers on here have successfully implemented into their Morality courses. I tend toward a lot of personal reflections, and occasionally pick-a-moral-topic-and-research/present-on-it, but I feel like there could be so much more.
And as a side-question, I’d also be curious to hear about people’s structure and pacing for the course. There’s a LOT of content and a LOT of ways to go about framing and presenting it, and I’ve been reworking my approach each semester in order to find a healthy structure. I’m interested in hearing about anyone’s successes or failures when it comes to organizing their course.
Thanks!
