a hypothetical situation:
lets say a teacher of a catholic religion class shows a militantly anti-catholic preacher speaking about a common non contreversial topic but whats being said is very fluffy and watered down. and the teacher could use a WAY better speaker like (father corapi)
but if i were to bring up the flaws in the protestant’s theology but if the teacher gets mad at me for preaching the faith and tells me that im not being christian for being meticulous and iam closed off from listening to any protestant. which i dont!

If the “teacher” of a Catholic religion class gets mad at you for “preaching the faith and tells me that im not being christian for being meticulous and iam closed off from listening to any protestant. which i dont!”, then that teacher is wrong! You know you’re right when they immediately go to the “closed minded” argument (they are the closed minded ones!)

**The Truth is the Truth, even if these weak minded people don’t believe it!
**
Jesus taught us in today’s Gospel reading; "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.” (Jn 14:6)

i am sure this same teacher would disagree with Jesus, saying that anyone can go to heaven if they are “good”???

"Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name." (Acts 5:41)

Be thankful that you are “counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name!” The Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord & Savior!!!

If this “teacher” is honest, they will allow a wonderful Catholic speaker like Fr. Corapi to be presented, even if they don’t understand or agree with him.

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

i wouldnt go that far but my niece says that the teacher has her moments (like once she disagreed with paul in the suffering in purgatory) she read the scripture text AND THE TEACHER SAID AND I QUOTE “i disagree with that statement”
the teacher isnt that bad but i just dont see the problem with father corapi over mark driscoll an excatholic and very militantly anti catholic (oops i used names) even on a topic that is non contreversial its not on fire its not over the top in your face Catholic it is like
“its okay” gospel its nondenominational at some points
C-average catholocism just mere christianity not pure catholocism this is my main problem.
