These are some of the things that are being preached from the ambo by my pastor:
The feast of the Body and Blood of Our Lord-

“So if we do all of the necessary preparations before Mass and it doesn’t change how we live (action) then its utterly worthless. In fact its hypocrisy!”

Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time -
“The hand of the Lord feeds us, He answers all our needs. Do you believe that? We say we do but I’m not so sure that that’s true”

Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time -
"During this past week was there a time when you saw something, when you heard something or when you experienced something that either that you did or that somebody else did and you said, “I should do something about that or I should quit acting like that or I should do something different than what I normally do” That’s the Spirit coming in to posses our hearts. Its not a devil or an angel, but God. "

I don’t see anything wrong with what he is saying? In the first instance I take that to mean that we need to live our Christianity outside of Mass or it’s an empty action on our part. Not that the mass itself means nothing. On the second one, he seems to be questioning that we really believe that in many cases, not if it’s really happening. In the third case, yes the Holy Spirit can guide us and poke our consciences. Just my take!

It’s what he’s not saying the is kinda what I’m getting at. Then again it might be that that is the goal. To provoce thought amongst those who listen. Personally I just wish he’d be a bit more specific. Like “we still don’t know for sure what God is doing? But… Jesus Christ gave us a glimpse of what it might look like.”
I mean it. This is the kinda vibe I’m getting.

Most homilies have the goal of trying to provoke us to think about what the Scripture is saying, what Christ is saying, how we can better apply it to our own lives. If you find a particular homily is not helpful for you, then feel free to just think about Jesus during it or something. We all have an occasional homily we cannot relate to. But the priest doesn’t seem to be saying anything “modernist” or really, anything unusual at all. I’ve probably heard these themes in a homily at least a couple dozen times each over the years from many different priests.

I don’t see anything wrong with what he saying. May I ask why you continue to start threads on things your pastor says? You seem eager to find fault with his teaching.
