Which member of the clergy is titled “His Beatitude” and which “His Emminence”?

“His Beatitude” = patriarch

“His Emminence” = cardinal

Major Archbishops also use “Beatitude.”

And the Patriarch or Major Archbishop of an Eastern Church actually outranks a Cardinal.

Cardinal’s aren’t really outranked by anyone other than the Pope, or for that matter outrank anyone else in their status as cardinal, since Cardinals aren’t part of the vertical hierarchy of the Church. The only real function of a cardinal is to elect a Pope at conclave. It just so happens that most cardinals happen to high ranking archbishops. A member of the clergy can be highly important, and not be a Cardinal, or in some cases, be a cardinal and not even be a Bishop.
