Im kinda of lost on this whole topic.

What is holiness and how does one know they are or someone else is?

Can someone who has sinned become holy?

Like to hear what everyone has to say.

A person who is holy lives as Christ asks us to live, loving and giving of ourselves for our neighbor. We can all be holy. Yes, as sinners we can be holy as long as we are sorry,ask God’s forgiveness and sin no more.
We are on a journey of purification, and we fall, ask for forgiveness , and start all over again. We get grace from the Sacraments to make this journey. We also have prayers from the Saints, Holy Scripture, devotionals, prayers, pilgrimages to help us grow closer to Jesus.

We have a very good chance of becoming holy if we cooperate with God’s graces every day of our life.

Look at St Augustine who was a big sinner. He was a sex addict but went on to become one of the greatest positive influences on the Church and became a saint.
