My family was at the March for Life last year. The day before it, we went to the Holocaust Museum for some sightseeing. In front for the biulding were a bunch of abortion supporters holding signs, some of which included pictures of bodies stacked high from concentration camps (a picture that I have in the past associtated with pictures of aborted children). I don’t get why they chose to stand outside the holocaust museum when you would think you’d associate that with making abortion like that. Can anyone explain their reasoning to me?

It does sound unusual. What group was it? At which Holocaust museum?

I’m not sure what group it was. My friend’s dad did go up and talk to them, but I don’t know where they were from or anything. It was at the Holocaust Museum in DC

I couldn’t find any direct explanation of what you saw, but in 2004 a “March for Women’s Lives” took place in Washington, DC. That march was to draw attention to the lives lost due to illegal abortions.

Its possible that the protest you saw last year was an attempt to link the Holocaust to the the deaths of women who have back-alley abortions. What you saw last year may have been held simply to dispute the pro-life comparison of abortion to the Holocaust. I am guessing it was intended to pre-empt the use of Holocaust imagery by pro-life activists.

Many Pro-Life people see the death of 40 million or so babys each year as an ongoing holocaust. In light of Catholic teaching on the subject it is a pretty valid comparison.
