Hi,
My work during the week does not allow me time to attend Mass on Holy Days. My commute and work hours place me on the road when the Masses are being held. Do I need to confess missing these Masses? Also I do listen to Mass on the radio everyday. I know it is not the same as going to Mass, but I try.
Thanks

There is a rule of thumb in canon law: no one can be obligated to do the impossible. If it is not possible for you to attend Mass then you are excused from the obligation. You do not need to confess missing Mass if it was not possible for you to attend.

The obligation on Sundays and Holy Days is to attend Mass. Therefore listening to Mass on the radio cannot fulfill the obligation. However, it may be a good and beneficial thing to do if one cannot attend Mass.
