Hi all,

Do you pray in front of holy icons/pictures of the saints while you’re home?
I do and I don’t know if you’re aware of the story of Mother Mary of Guadalupe…if you pray in front of it I mean of her picture on this sacred tilma the look of Mother Mary becomes more beautiful while the picture is a bit blurred/the black n white pic/the original one.As I pray the rosary everyday and in front of me is the sacred black n white picture I often whispering how beautiful the Holy Mother’s look is.If you want to get this picture/print go to sancta.org website and go to see the galleries and besides you can even read/print the sermons of St.John Vianney well-known as the Cure of Ars.You’ll be changed spiritually!

Laudate Dominum

Hi all,

Do you pray in front of holy icons/pictures of the saints while you’re home?
Indeed. I have this icon of a very young female angel, resting with hands crossed over her breasts. Calm, serene eyes. An invitation to enter into her silence. To meditate and contemplate. To be still. An Orthodox icon of Jesus Christ, Holy Silence. “Be still, and know that I am God.” :angel1:

Of course. I particularly love my icon of Our Lady of the Passion (known in the West as Our Lady of Perpetual Help). There is so much of both love and calm strength in Our Lady’s face that I never tire of praying with it.

Of course I have other pictures, although my crucifix would probably be my favourite of all. Another that I tend to use a lot is my picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
