I have gotten into praying the Rosary daily. I pray the Rosary in one sitting, but I saw some where today that a good way to pray and not say the Rosary is to space it out. But here is my question

Let’s say that I am going to do two decades in the morning. After I complete those two decades, how should I close, and then how should I start to pray the next decade later on. I would pray the “Oh my Jesus…” prayer, but what should I do after that. Any helpful suggestions are appreciated. Thank you, and may God bless all of you and your families and loved ones!

Close with the Fatima prayer and sign of the cross. Resume when you can.

I think the rosary post was for someone who was having trouble mediating while praying the rosary. It was suggested that the poster space the rosary out and not try to overload himself with prayers. Just do as P-Claire says. Or you can make your own little prayer ending as it is a private devotion. If you promise to continue the rosary to the BM…keep you promise/word and return to the rosary and finish.

After you say the “Oh my Jesus…” prayer, simply conclude the session and later resume with the opening “Our Father” prayer of the next decade. That’s how I would do it (and have on occassion done it). I don’t think the relatively short time interval is really important in this instance, and I would just resume praying the Rosary as though it were continuous (that is, as though the interval had not occurred).
