What is the usual method of having statues, rosaries, etc blessed? Should I have my new Missal blessed? Is it ok to touch some holy water to an object like my rosary after blessing myself?
 
Just ask your priest to bless whatever it is. Ours has done so for rosaries, scapulars, etc.
