Hi there

I have recently installed a Holy Water font at home.
However I have OCD and have started to worry about touching something dirty after blessing myself. I feel that the blessing remains on my hand after using Holy Water and that it would be wrong to touch something dirty before washing my hands first.

I am assuming I don’t have to worry about this.

See a counselor about your OCD, and see a priest about scruples.
You know you’re obsessing…so that’s a start. Pray for proper perspective and use of sacramentals.
