Ouch. This is not a Christian attitude to this problem. Mortal sin should not be encouraged and prayed for.

As Jimmy Buffet sang: “Commit a little mortal sin, it’s good for the soul.” You might want to rethink your and Jimmy’s position.
 
Lord, help them to find their authentic identity as your redeemed children.

God does not condone homosexuality with a partner. He loves all homosexuals as he loves everyone but not the act of being with someone who is the same gender and living as man and wife. We were born to procreate and this cannot be done with same sex couples. I will pray for both of you.

Procreation cannot be done with naturally infertile couples, post-menopausal couples, or couples whose sexual organs are injured or inoperative. Does God want them to be celibate also? Is every sexual act which does not result in pregnancy sinful? Of course not.
If God is so opposed to homosexuality, how come it is so rampant in the unfallen animal world?
But thank you for your prayers. My wife and I can use them.

Well, at least my posts have been the cause of much prayer. Maybe God brought good out of evil after all :rolleyes:

Dear Lord, please show them this not what you want from them. Remind them of Your presence and lead them to lives that will please you. Be with them throughout their struggles and encourage them with Your grace, please and thank you. Amen.
