Does anyone know if there have been any notable Saints throughout the Church’s history who have struggled with same sex attractions?

If there aren’t any famous cases I’d certainly like to strive to be the first one!😛 As silly as that may sound…
 
I don’t know of any, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some

I do know there is a movement to try to have Fr Mychal Judge, the priest hero of 911 canonized, and he was gay

It’s great that you want to stay chaste and be a saint! That should be our goal.

Generally, the Church does not publicize the temptations of the Saints.

One good Saint to pray to for chastity is St. Augustine. He lead a very debauched life in his youth, but reformed, and became a great theologian and Saint.

He is not a Saint but the great and well respected Henri Nouwen struggled with same sex attraction. He was celibate and remained so. Amazing mind, amazing spiritual/philosophical writing, well respected by evanglicals such as Phillip Yancey and Dr. Camplo AND when he could have made a fortune with his writing & touring, he CHOOSE to spend it caring for the disabled at L’Arche.
