Homosexual sister

I just found out a week ago my sister is gay. She sent me an e-mail that she is gay and has a live in girlfriend. My sister also has 2 kids 10 & 12. I have 4 kids under 6. My husband and I are struggling on what to do. I don’t accept her lifestyle, but i do love my sister and nieces. What should I do?

We need to be charitable to those who suffer same sex attraction affliction. They do not have an easy cross to bear. Do not shy away to telling the truth in any situation. I will pry for you.

My niece is also in a same sex relationship. I pray for her, have never said anything one way or the other about her life style. BUT at some point I plan to give her a blessed miraculous medal. Mary who promises conversions and miracles will lead her home.My wife who is non-Catholic insists that I do and say nothing negative. I have not BUT I will not encourage or approve of it either. At family functions, I’m polite and as cordial as I am towards my other nieces and nephews.
