I know homosexual activities are not part of the church’s teaching.
My friend told me that 2 women engaging in sexual intercourse(activity) is not considered sex cause there is no penetration involved.
I don’t think so;is it true or not? How can I prove it to her?

Any genital contact that is designed to arouse is sexual contact. Penetration is just a subset of this. Sexual contact that occurs outside of the marital embrace is by nature disordered. A woman is designed to accept a man, not another woman. Male and female are complementary and when you break that relationship, whatever occurs is disordered.

The bottom line is that sexual arousal is designed to happen between a married man and woman with the possibility of life. Period. That is why the church teaches against masturbation, sex outside of marriage (homo and hetro), birth control. It’s all the same teaching. An argument like ‘no penetration’ is sophistry.

Are they stimulating their genitals?

If they are seeking the unitive aspect of sex i.e the sexual pleasure from the act separated from the procreative aspect of sex, it is a sin. This is the basic principle that sexual morality is based on and it applies equally to everyone.

Also, from the Catechism:
2351 Lust is disordered desire for or inordinate enjoyment of sexual pleasure. Sexual pleasure is morally disordered when sought for itself, isolated from its procreative and unitive purposes.
In other words, even if there is no penetration the two women would be lusting.
2352 By masturbation is to be understood the deliberate stimulation of the genital organs in order to derive sexual pleasure. "Both the Magisterium of the Church, in the course of a constant tradition, and the moral sense of the faithful have been in no doubt and have firmly maintained that masturbation is an intrinsically and gravely disordered action."138 “The deliberate use of the sexual faculty, for whatever reason, outside of marriage is essentially contrary to its purpose.” For here sexual pleasure is sought outside of "the sexual relationship which is demanded by the moral order and in which the total meaning of mutual self-giving and human procreation in the context of true love is achieved."139

First off it IS part of the Church teaching. The Church teaches that sexual activity between same sexes is gravely disordered and a sin of grave matter.
Penetration is not required. Any and all sex acts between same sexes are forbidden.

Jesus said if a man even looks at a woman in lust he has already committed the sin in his heart. Penetration is unnecessary. All you need to do is think about it and you are guilty.

Jesus said this, not some moral theologian, pope, or fuddy duddy trying to spoil your fun.

Take it or leave it.

Thank you’ll
So in a wrap because it causes arousal and it is pleasurably it is sex? Right:shrug:

Does it also involve lust?

It is lust. Arousal and sexual pleasure are good things in the right forum. The definition of lust provided in the Catechism essentially says this. Seeking sexual pleasure apart from its unitive and procreative meanings is disordered. Sex by circumstance cannot be truly unitive unless it occurs within the bounds of marriage between a man and woman.

People always try to find loopholes or excuses to justify sinful behavior. They go through contortions, what ifs, and all kinds of mental gymnastics to convince themselves in my case sin is not a sin. Hopleless attempts at justifying ourselves is the opposite of confessing our sin, admitting we are guilty and in need of mercy.

The sex is not sex without penetration is an example. I remember Bill Clinton not knowing what the definition of sex is. If it were not a matter of spiritual life and death it would be humorous.

If you want mercy it is yours. If you want to justify yourself and try being self righteous you can not receive mercy.
