We recently held an event here in San Diego to honour the women in our Catholic community. I was telling a friend back home in England about it and she told me that I should tell more people outside of San Diego, in the hope that it would encourage groups elsewhere to do the same thing.
I’m not sure if this is exactly the right place to do it, but this seemed the most appropriate forum at catholic.com
The whole idea began back in August at a friend’s bachelor weekend. While we were catching our breath hiking halfway up a mountain, one of our number shared with us an idea he had… Mike wanted to put together some sort of event for all the ladies in our lives: friends, girlfriends, wives, sisters and mothers. He wanted an evening for the guys to gather together specifically to honour all of the ladies.
